Drake takes over as Parkside UCC pastor

The Rev. Susan Drake will lead Parkside Community United Church of Christ in Saukville.
On April 1, Drake became the part-time, designated bridge pastor of the church, located at 166 W Dekora St.
She replaces the Rev. Michelle Freeman.
Drake has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Kansas State University and a master of divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis.
She has served as a chaplain in health care settings as well as associate pastor positions. She also served as an adjunct instructor for several years with the philosophy department at St. Louis Community College.
She serves in a part-time capacity as a chaplain for Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
Drake is also an accomplished singer and songwriter with her partner, Julie. She has two stepchildren.

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Parkside conducts weekly virtual worship services on its YouTube channel and Facebook page, which are posted at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
