Donations of gift cards sought for county seniors

Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County  is seeking donations for its holiday gifts program.
Donations of $10 and $20 gift cards from Meijer, Piggly Wiggly, Pick ‘n Save, Walgreens and Walmart are being sought by Interfaith.
Interfaith’s holiday gifts program aims to provide gift cards from local stores to each of the 150-plus clients of Interfaith residing in Ozaukee County.
Seniors can use the gift cards to purchase anything they want or need for the holidays.
“For many seniors who are low income, isolated and/or don’t have family in the area, the Gifts from the Heart program may be the only present they receive this holiday season,” Interfaith’s Executive Director Paul Schultz said.
Interfaith is a nonprofit organization providing volunteer support services to seniors in the county.
Donations may be dropped off or mailed to Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County, 2360 Dakota Dr., Grafton, WI 53024.
    The deadline is Dec. 10.
