Dona Keith

 

Dona Keith of Grafton, formerly of Port Washington, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. She was 75.

Dona was born in Rochester, NY, on Aug. 31, 1946, to the Rev. Donald and Doris (nee Zittrouer) Keith. The family lived in New York, Washington, D.C., Indiana and Illinois before settling in Bayside.             

Dona served as caregiver to both her parents before moving to Port Washington in 2004.

Dona was always involved with music, being an accomplished pianist and vocalist. She participated in church choirs throughout her life, was a member of the Ozaukee Chorus and was a volunteer pianist for several senior care residences.

She was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington and was active in the Friendship Club.

In 2019, Dona moved to Village Pointe Commons in Grafton, where she thrived, being blessed with dear friends and devoted caregivers.

Dona is survived by her sister Elisabeth (Brent) Bohne of Cedarburg, nieces Beth (Mike) Dolinar of Wadsworth, Ill., cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Village Point Commons Community Room, 101 Walnut Cir., Grafton on Monday, Sept. 27,  from 2 to 4 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Port Washington, in her name, if desired.
