Delores Anna Mueller

Delores Anna Mueller (nee Parchim) of West Bend, Wis., peacefully entered her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at the age of 95.

Delores was born on Sept. 13, 1930, in Milwaukee to August Peter and Clara Irene (Schwartz) Parchim. She was raised in the Cedarburg and Grafton area, attending St. Joseph’s Catholic School and later the Country School in Town Ten. From a young age, she learned the value of hard work — helping on the family farm in Cedarburg and working for Doerr Electric, the Cedars Restaurant and a local grocery store.

In 1959, she moved her young family to Newburg to be near her parents in the Town of Farmington. A devoted member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and the Christian Mothers Society, Delores volunteered as a room mother at Holy Trinity School and later served the parish as a housekeeper at the parsonage.

Determined and always striving to grow, she earned her certified nursing assistant certificate and worked at Samaritan Nursing Home for 10 years, where she also served proudly as a union steward. In 1977, she moved to West Bend and became a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, once again giving generously of her time, especially during the church picnic. She was also a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1398 in West Bend, reflecting her commitment to community and friendship.

Education remained important throughout her life. As an adult student, she earned an associate degree in real estate from Moraine Park Technical College in 1981, followed by obtaining her real estate broker’s license.

On July 3, 1986, Delores married the love of her life, David J. Mueller. They had already shared more than 20 years together, enjoying treasured family gatherings and special times at their cottage up north. They traveled extensively, making memories across the miles. Delores truly loved her time “Up North” and continued to visit every summer and fall until just a few years ago. She delighted in sharing the Northwoods experience and often invited friends and family to join her, encouraging them to take advantage of the great fishing and hunting she also enjoyed.

Her hobbies were many and brought her great joy — anything polka (especially volunteering for West Bend Germanfest), country line dancing, antiquing, collecting clocks and lanterns and almost every other collectible, playing cards, bingo, periodic casino trips with her siblings and even dabbling in astrology. She valued the camaraderie these activities brought into her life.

Delores will be remembered as a proud, independent and deeply faithful woman who embraced every chapter of life with courage, determination and grace. She was a natural caretaker — reliable, generous, and always ready to lend a helping hand. She loved people, loved to talk and never missed an opportunity to visit and connect with those around her.

She is survived by her three devoted children, Donna Huebner Hahn, Herman (Christine Knop) Huebner and Wilbur (Lynda McCallum) Huebner. She is further survived by her cherished grandchildren Anthony and Michelle Hahn, Kelly Hahn, Steven and LeAnne Hahn, Kimberly Huebner, Joseph and Lydia Huebner, Andrew and Andrea Huebner, Katie Huebner and Taylor Verbanac, Danielle and Cory Zuccaro, Taylor and Zach Heipel and Mitchel Huebner; and by her great-grandchildren Nolan Hahn, Pawel Hahn, Grace Huebner Schwaller, Dominic Huebner, Mya Rose Huebner, Finn Verbanac, Sawyer Verbanac, Margaret Mary Huebner, Isabella Zuccaro, Luca Zuccaro and Genevieve Heipel.

She is also survived by her brother August Parchim Jr. and sisters-in-law Rosemary (Gerlach) Parchim and Bernice (Guerndt) Parchim, along with many dear nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents August and Clara Parchim; her husband Dave Mueller; son-in-law Charles Hahn; sister and brother-in-law Frances and Arthur Scherer; brother and sister-in-law John and Doris (Herther) Parchim; brother Edmund Parchim; infant sister Leona Parchim; mother-in-law Ann Marie Mueller; and special uncle Joseph Ludwig.

Funeral services for Delores will be held at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. in West Bend on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025. Visitation will take place from 10 to 11:45 a.m., followed by a memorial service conducted by Father Guy Gurath at noon. A reception will be held in the funeral home hospitality area following the service.

Inurnment will take place at Holy Angels Cemetery at a later date.
