Little did Debbie know in eighth grade when she played Mary and Tom Morgan played Joseph in St. Mary’s Christmas program that they would become high school sweethearts, and on June 25, 1977, Debbie and Tom were married at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington.

She enjoyed a career as a cost accountant for Bolens, Trak International and the Vollrath Co., retiring in 2017.

Always a very giving person, after retiring Debbie began volunteering for various organizations. She especially enjoyed reading with first graders at local elementary schools.

Debbie, known to many as “Sara,” was a very social person. When you met her, you were an instant friend.

She was an avid reader and treasured dinners with friends and family and weekend getaways. She was an enthusiastic Green Bay Packers fan and attended many games. She loved rock music and enjoyed following her favorite band, Bobby Friss.   Most recently, Debbie took up the game of golf and enjoyed meeting her friends on Wednesday mornings to play.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Tom; son Joel Morgan; brothers Bob (Carole) Husting and Mike (Denise) Husting; sisters-in-law Michele (David) Stricker, Mary Kay (Steve) Baumann and Jane (Mark) Matheny; and brothers-in-law Jeff (Rose) Morgan, Terry Morgan and Kevin (Judeen) Morgan. She was Aunt Debbie to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is further survived by other relatives and many new and lifelong friends.
