Debbie Folz

Mrs. Debbie Folz of the Town of Belgium passed away Sunday evening, April 19, 2026, in Grafton following a valiant battle with cancer. She was 70 years old.
Deborah was born on June 6, 1955, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Myron and Marcellene (nee Bricko) Harrier.
She attended local schools and graduated from Brillion High School, Class of 1973, before enlisting in the US Air Force Reserve.
On Sept. 6, 1980, Debbie was united in marriage with Gary Folz. The couple settled in the Holy Cross area of the Town of Belgium.
Mrs. Folz worked in the office at Veolia/Waste Management, retiring in 2016. She held her position for 35 years through many different versions of the company.
Following her retirement, she and Gary had many plans for travel and fun, but they were cut short a year later due to a cancer diagnosis. They still had many wonderful trips to destinations such as Nashville, Memphis, Las Vegas and Kissimmee over the years.
Debbie had held the dream of being a graphic artist and used her talents and gifts to create. Sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch and other needlecraft projects kept her very busy. Wherever there was a space to work, she had a project going. Debbie was an avid reader and always had her Kindle close at hand. She loved to spend time tending her flower gardens, and absolutely adored her dogs.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Gary, their son Brian, brothers Michael Harrier of Sheboygan, Patrick Harrier of Random Lake and Dean Harrier of Plymouth and sisters Brenda Schilling of Sheboygan Falls and Michelle (Derrick) Kumbier of Germantown.
She is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Larry (Peggy) Folz of Belgium, Jeff (Carol) Folz of Fredonia and Bill (Sue) Folz of Saukville, nieces, nephews, her canine companion Coca, other family members and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Myron and Marcellene Harrier, brother Paul Harrier, parents-in-law Michael “Micky” and Joan Folz, sister-in-law Michelle Huiras and many of her precious dogs.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m.
Debbie will be laid to rest beside family members in Holy Cross Cemetery, Belgium.
If desired, memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
