Daniel Chaudoir Sr.
Daniel “Dan” R Chaudoir Sr., age 65 years, of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
He was born June 24, 1956, in Milwaukee, the son of Roderick “Rod” and Evelyn.
On Aug. 21, 1998, he married Jodi Smith at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
Survivors include his wife Jodi; his children Katrina Worthan (Dave Brill) of Menomonee Falls, Andrea Marie Hagan (Timothy) of Port Washington, Daniel R Chaudoir, Jr. (Lauren) of Pewaukee, Andrea Lynn Brunette (Eric) of Grafton and Matt Michalski of Port Washington; grandchildren Kane Smith Brunette (age 3) and Drew Rosalind Brunette (age 1); his brother Tom Chaudoir of Plymouth; sister Dinah Federer (Don) of Sheboygan; his beautiful and most special cousin Ann Daniel (Paul); niece MaryMargaret Daniel of Pewaukee; other relatives; and many friends.
Let us not forget the true canine love of his life, his 13-year-old dog, Windy. She misses him every day.
Dan was president, CEO, and sole owner of Central File Marketing, which he sold in November 2017.
He was a member of Tripoli Shrine, Director’s Staff, Elhajj, Jesters, PM of George Washington 1776, former chairman of the Port Washington Police and Fire Commission and a former vice-president of the board of Kathy’s House located in Wauwatosa.
He also served as a mentor to friends and family.
A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Mary’s Church (446 N. Johnson St. Port Washington, WI 53074).
The family will receive visitors at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
Dan will be laid to rest at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Shriner’s Hospital or Stars and Stripes Honor flight in Dan’s name.
