Contest winners express visions of peace through art

Ozaukee Middle School students and winners of the Fredonia Lions Club Peace Poster Contest showed off their visions for the theme “Peace Without Limits” last week. They were (from left) Jahleena Coleman, second place; Saaba Annor, third place; Macie Morgan, first place; Natalie Chronis, fifth place; and Brynn Gehrke, fourth place. The students were joined by art teacher Ryan Hornickel (left), who has incorporated the contest in his curriculum, and Lions Club member Kathy Shoemaker (right).
