Conservation Association offers two scholarships
The Sheboygan County Conservation Association is offering two $1,000 scholarships for students who want to major in an environmental field.
The Roy Kalmerton Scholarship and the Marion and Robert Schuchardt Scholarship are available to college students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university who have completed a minimum of one full-time year in college and attained sophomore status.
Applicants must intend to major in fields such as fisheries management, water resources, forestry, resource management, soils management, wildlife management, zoology, conservation law enforcement or environmental education.
Applicants must be residents of Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Calumet, Fond du Lac or Ozaukee counties.
Application forms can be downloaded from the website sheboyganconservation.org/programs/scca-scholarship/ or by contacting John Zalewski at jzalewski@sheboyganconservation.org.
Completed applications and accompanying documents must be returned by April 1.
The scholarship will be presented at the association’s annual banquet on May 14.
