Connie M. Didier

Connie M. Didier of Port Washington passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, after a short battle with illness surrounded by her loving family. She was 70 years old.
She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Aug. 16, 1956, to parents John and Barbara (nee Dix) Stechner.
Connie graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1974 and shortly after met the love of her life, William. They were united in marriage on Oct. 16, 1976.
Connie was a stay-at-home mom for many years before accepting a position at the Saukville branch of Associated Bank. Over the years Connie enjoyed helping her bank customers and formed lifelong friendships with her co-workers.
Connie enjoyed spending time with her family. Anyone you ask will say she looked forward to a traditional family gathering at Christmastime with extended family. She loved being surrounded by her siblings Jon, Randy, Ginny and Marty and their spouses as well as her many nieces and nephews. She had a special bond with her sister-in-law Patricia Didier and was grateful for all her love and support.
Connie’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She loved traveling to their various sporting events, vacationing and visiting with them and simply chatting with them often about their day-to-day lives. An animal lover who treated her beloved dogs as family, Connie was generous and giving, never expecting anything in return for her love and kindness.
Connie is survived by her daughter Carrie (Keith) Mackey of Orland Park, Ill., and grandchildren Addison, Keegan and Kayden Mackey and Alex Prochaska.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Didier and son Adam Didier.
Per Connie’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held in the future.
Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
