Club raising money for community garden Saukville
The Grafton Lions Club is raising funds to create a community garden.
Money is needed to fence the garden, buy and install a storage shed and tools and acquire raised-bed enclosures and soil.
The garden will be on Cheyenne Avenue just north of the Grafton Little League Fields.
The club has taken on the project to address food scarcity by providing access to fresh vegetables to people who don’t have garden space at home and encourage nutritious diets.
Donations to the community garden are being raised through a Zeffy Fundraising Campaign, ensuring all the funds go directly to the project.
