Christmas toppers are showstoppers at Port school

Festive holiday headgear was all the rage at Dunwiddie Elementary School last week as students and staff members celebrated Tree Topper Day — part of the Port Washington school’s annual Twelve Days Before Winter Break countdown — by modeling Christmas hats. Kindergartwen students Alya Wenner (left in top photo) and Zuri Smith made a great pair, matching reindeer antlers with a Santa cap. School Psychologist Caitlin Zozakiewicz and her son Colton Jagow (above) were all smiles as they posed in their Christmas attire. Wyatt Sodam (above left) was topped with a Christmas tree. Third-grade teacher Ashley Krumenauer, with an elaborate bow on her head, and paraprofessional Bonnie Brunner, whose poinsettia arrangement included lights, also got in on the fun (left).
