Chamber seeks career day speakers at JLMS

The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking area business professionals to offer online presentations during a career day event at John Long Middle School on Thursday, May 20.

Each presenter will give four 30-minute presentations through Google Meets that address the recommended education and training for a particular career and also the various opportunities and challenges experienced in that career. .

There will be approximately 20 students viewing each presentation. The presentations will be from 8:40 to 11 a.m. 

The Chamber is seeking professionals in careers such as agriculture, education, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, architecture and construction, finance, human services, marketing and sales, communications, government, public administration, information technology, engineering, mathematics, business, health care, public safety, transportation and logistics.
