Chamber seeking sponsors, golfers for Sept. 24 outing

With its Tuesday, Sept. 24, golf outing fast approaching, the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce continues to seek sponsors for the event to be held at Edgewater Golf Club in Grafton.

The Chamber announced this week that Bank Five Nine, which donated $500, is the event’s swag sponsor.

Other opportunities are:

•  The Mulligan  Sponsorship for $200.

•  The Take a Wiff Sponsorship for $300. Golfers see who can hit a wiffle ball the farthest with a child’s club off the tee. The winner will receive $100.

•  The In the Ruff Hide & Peek Challenge Sponsorship for $400. Golfers hunt for golf balls with the sponsor’s log on them hidden throughout the course, then exchange them for raffle tickets to win $100.

•  The Hole-in-One Sponsorship for $500. The first golfer to make a hole in one wins $100.

The Chamber is also seeking golfers to participate in the 30th annual golf outing, which begins at 2:30 p.m. and includes nine holes of golf and dinner.

The cost is $75 for individuals and $290 for foursomes.
