Cedar Valley Cheese hoists a milk silo

Crews on Thursday, March 26, installed a silo at Cedar Valley Cheese in Fredonia that will hold 60,000 gallons of milk. Cedar Valley Cheese President Jeff Hiller said the project was done to replace an existing silo that needed a new concrete foundation. Last year, the company completed a $15 million expansion project that involved an 88,000-square-foot addition that included a storage warehouse and quality control lab. Photo by Sam Arendt
