Caryl Joan Robers

PAID OBITUARY
Caryl Joan Robers died Friday, April 6, 2018, at Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon attended by her life partner of 28 years Mark Geisheker and the hospital chaplain.
She was born in Lake Geneva on Oct. 13, 1936.
Caryl was a remarkable woman and the most ideal of companions who enjoyed travel, new experiences and especially animals.
There is in her apartment a collection of the ashes of every pet she ever had. These ashes will be scattered commingled with hers, as was her wish.
Caryl owned a business that placed art in major collections and helped place Wisconsin artists. Her sense of design and style was absolutely second-to-none, using the philosophy that less is more. A trip through a museum was an eye-opener for anyone who would accompany her.
Caryl's interest in history, both personal and technical, satisfied her curiosity in people, places and things. Genealogy was her favorite interest, leading her to find a castle where her relatives in Germany held court.
Caryl is survived by her life companion Mark Geisheker, brother Philip and sister-in-law Sandra, nephew Marshall and nieces Gretchen and Rebecca.
