Carol Elizabeth Conrad

Carol Elizabeth Conrad of Port Washington passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at the age of 88.  

She was born the beloved daughter of Edwin and Lorraine (Verhaalen) Molling on Sept. 14, 1937.   

Carol was united in marriage with William Conrad on June 25, 1955, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington, and together they raised two sons.

Carol was a seamstress and bartender.  She enjoyed making crafts and putting together jigsaw puzzles. 

Carol volunteered at numerous organizations, including the Senior Center, Aurora Medical Center and the Food Pantry Inc. in Port Washington.  She was an active member of St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Church, for many years. She also had a love for travel. Above all, Carol cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

Carol will remain in the hearts of those who knew her best. She is survived by her children Scott (Brigitte) Conrad and Brian (Linda) Conrad, both of Belgium; grandchildren Nicholas (Samantha) Conrad, Alexander Conrad (Emma Schmidt) and Kimberly Starr (Aidan Raidy); great-grandsons Liam, Eli and Owen Conrad and one great-granddaughter on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William and sister Kathleen Klein.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, WI 53074. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church in a time of visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. 

Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband at Holden East Cemetery, Port Washington.

Eernisse Funeral Home of Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
