Brian Jay Krueger

Brian Jay Krueger, better known as “BJ,” passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2026, at his home in Belgium. He was 65 years old.
BJ was born on Sept. 7, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Myron and Luella (née Zocher) Krueger. He grew up in Port Washington and spent many cherished weekends “Up North” in Tomahawk.
BJ dedicated many years to his career at Charter Steel before retiring, after which he filled his days with the things he loved most. If he wasn’t putzing around the house or yard, you could find him on the golf course, playing cribbage, working on a puzzle or cheering on the Packers and Brewers.
BJ is survived by his two children and their spouses, Jacob (Kaitlyn) Krueger of Plymouth and Jaime (Corey) Roth of Menasha. He was a proud grandfather to Braxton and Hartlee Roth. He is further survived by his brother Mark (Karen) Krueger, nieces, nephews and many close friends, neighbors and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Myron and Lu, his brothers Paul and Kevin and his beloved three-legged companion Elwood.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium, Wis. 53004, with the Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth officiating. The family will greet guests from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
BJ will be remembered for his silly sense of humor and his ability to always crack a joke. He wouldn’t have wanted anything too formal, so please come as you are. Packers and Brewers attire is encouraged in his honor.
Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
