Brian Guokas

Brian Guokas of Port Washington, a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 9, 2024, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.  He was 47 years old.

Brian was born in Newport News, Va., on March 11, 1977, the son of Stan and Monica (nee Dylak) Guokas.

The family moved to Port Washington, Wis., in 1981. Brian grew up in Port Washington and was a proud graduate of Port Washington High School with the Class of 1995.

Brian tied the knot with his loving partner, Shani Larson, on a beautiful day, May 22, 2009, in Grafton, Wis., and together with their dog Maggie they built a life filled with happiness and love.

He dedicated his professional life to KMC Stamping in Port Washington, where he served as a CMM programmer in the Quality Department since 2011. He enjoyed teaching and training others within his team.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Brian found joy in his passion for creating and playing music, always enjoying the sounds of his favorite tunes. He was a talented artist, an incredibly skilled fantasy football manager and champion who enjoyed engaging in lively discussions about politics and cheering on his favorite basketball team, the Milwaukee Bucks.

Brian is survived by his wife Shani; his parents Stan and Monica; and his three siblings, Mary (James Bauer) Guokas, Rebecca (Neil) Dahmer and Jeff Guokas.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg.

Friends and family are invited to join in sharing cherished memories and honoring the life of this remarkable individual.
