Breakfast with Santa
Snow can’t stop Santa from coming to breakfast in Grafton
Snow on Saturday, Nov. 29, prompted officials to push the Grafton Christmas parade back a week, but it didn’t disrupt the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Breakfast with Santa, which was held at Grafton High School. There a buffet awaited, along with a host of holiday characters and the man every child was waiting to see. Clockwise from top left photo: Danielle Bennett and 1-year-old Evelyn Smigelski had a plate full of pancakes and doughnuts to enjoy. Ginny Somogji had a chance to meet with Santa, two of his elves and Mrs. Claus. Rowan Knudsvig was welcomed by a bunch of holiday characters. The other half of Grafton’s holiday events — its 45th annual Christmas parade — was rescheduled to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. Photos by Sam Arendt
