Betty Holk

    Betty M. Holk passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022. She was 84 years old.
    Betty was born on Nov. 23, 1937, in Milwaukee to Raymond and Myrtle (nee Boblick) Zernia.
    She attended Cedarburg High School and graduated in 1955.
    Betty was a resident of the Town of Saukville for 25 years. Later she moved to Colorado and Florida before returning to Wisconsin to be closer to her family.
    Betty enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking and playing bingo. Above all, time spent with her grandchildren was most treasured.
    Betty is survived by her children Anne Potter of Vernonia, Ore., Martha Dick of Oostburg, Wis., and Paul Holk of Grafton, Wis.; grandchildren Steven D. Potter II, Nicole Potter, Katelyn Dick and Jon J. Dick; and great-grandson David Potter.
    She is further survived by siblings Susan Eaton, Raymond (Casey) Zernia, Tom (Sandy) Zernia and Clara O’leary and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Betty was preceded in death by her parents, son Peter G. Holk Jr., sons-in-law Steven D. Potter and Jon S. Dick, sister Margaret Even and brother Duane O’leary.
    A private service for Betty will be held at a later date.
