Award nominations sought by center

The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center is accepting nominations for the Ozaukee Impact Awards through May 26.

The awards, which will be presented on July 23, recognize individuals, organizations, businesses and volunteers who have made a meaningful difference throughout Ozaukee County.

This year, the center is adding one new award category — the Legacy Award — to honor an individual whose longstanding dedication, leadership and service has made a lasting impact on Ozaukee County and its communities.

This award will recognize a deep, sustained commitment to strengthening the community and improving the lives of those who live and work within it.

Nominations are also being accepted in five other categories.

Community Collaboration of the Year recognizes two or more volunteer groups or nonprofit organizations that collaborated on a local initiative or project that made a significant impact within the community.

Community Stewardship of the Year honors a business that has made a substantial impact through monetary or in-kind donations, sponsorships, employee volunteerism or community engagement.

Nonprofit Emerging Leader of the Year recognizes an early or mid-career nonprofit professional who demonstrates exceptional vision, passion, leadership and commitment to the community.

Nonprofit of the Year honors an outstanding nonprofit organization for its mission-driven success, innovation and service to the community.

Volunteer of the Year is someone who consistently goes above and beyond in lending their time, talents and expertise to support a nonprofit organization.

Special consideration for the 2026 Impact Awards will be given to Ozaukee Nonprofit Center member organizations, where applicable. Previous award recipients will not be eligible to receive the same award in consecutive years but may be nominated in another category.
