Art exhibit, sale is set at Cedarburg Cultural Center

    An exhibit and sale featuring artworks by the Sheboygan Visual Artists, a network of more than 125 amateur and professional artists working in all types of media, will be held from Thursday, July 19, to Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.
    The exhibition will be juried by Patrick Robison, who earned a bachelor of fine arts   degree and a master’s degree in ceramics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
    Robison taught ceramics at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan from 1976 to 2016 and at Lakeland University from 2000 to 2016. In 1998, he and his wife Karen established Two Fish Gallery in Elkhart Lake.
    His work has been widely exhibited and is included in numerous public and private collections.
    An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 25. A cash bar and complimentary refreshments will be available.
    The center at W62 N546 Washington Ave. is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
