Anne Klein
Mrs. Anne Klein of Port Washington, formerly of Milwaukee and Grafton, passed away on her 85th birthday at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington.
Anne was born in Louisville, Ky., on May 2, 1939, the daughter of Robert and Carolyn (nee Fedler) Gleason. The family later moved to Wisconsin.
She met her future husband at a soda fountain in Milwaukee. Anne was united in marriage with Kenneth Klein on Jan. 6, 1962.
The couple settled in Milwaukee and were blessed with three children, Kim, Chris and Lisa. They later moved to Grafton.
Ken preceded Anne in death in 2015.
Anne was a former member of St. Joseph Parish in Grafton.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, playing ping-pong and having family gatherings. She was a devoted caregiver to her son Chris and was an advocate for people with disabilities.
Mrs. Klein is survived by her daughter Lisa Klein (fiancee Chris Paape) of Port Washington and Lisa’s children Dylan and Sawyer Crain and was a special grandmother to Austin, Addison and Ashlyn Paape.
She is further survived by son-in-law Tom Kramer of Wind Lake, sister Carol (the late Jim) Fattor of Colorado and wonderful nieces and nephews.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband Ken, son Chris and daughter Kim Kramer.
Private family services will be held.
Anne will be buried alongside her family at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.
Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
