American Legion honors public employees for jobs well done

The Ozaukee County Council of the American Legion recently honored three public employees for their service. They were (holding plaques, from left) Joseph DeBoer, a member of the Port Washington Fire Department, who was named firefighter of the year by the Ozaukee County Council and Second District-Wisconsin American Legion; Cedar Grove-Belgium High School educator Dave Claerbaut, who was named the Council’s teacher of the year; and 1st Sgt. Patrick Deuberry, who was named by the Council and Second District as Army National Guard soldier of the year.
