A’s show Saints why they’re on top

The Saukville Saints lost at Rock River North Division leader the Kewaskum A’s, 14-1, in seven innings on Sunday.

Kewaskum’s Andy Neu hit two three-run home runs and pitched four innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out seven.

For the Saints, Simon Bares, Luis Dupe, Peyton Anderson, Brayden Oelhafen and Chase Verbanac each had a hit.

Connor Wojciechowski pitched four innings, allowing five hits, six runs (four earned), whiffing one and walking five. The Saints, 1-4, host the Oakfield Oaks (4-2) on Saturday, June 13, at the Hartford Hawks (4-2) on Sunday, June 14, both at 1 p.m. at Fred Junie Dickmann Field in Saukville.
