‘Green Up Your Winter Blues’ seminar is Feb. 8

    “Green Up Your Winter Blues,” a gardening seminar hosted by the Port Washington Garden Club, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.
    The seminar will be held at the Lakeview Community Room in the former Wilson House, 200 N. Franklin St., Port Washington.
    Check in is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., followed by a variety of sessions on topics such as sustaining wildlife, oriole feeders, creating living walls, pest and disease control, edible landscaping, home fermentation and plant trials.
    Refreshments will be provided during breaks.
    The registration fee is $25, but there is an additional charge for several of the workshops.
