A young entrepreneur and philanthropist

The lemonade stand at the corner of Falls Road and Shasta Avenue in Grafton did more than just quench the thirst of those who stopped for a drink Monday. It raised $260 for Family Sharing of Ozaukee County, thanks to 8-year-old Kennedy Siewert, whose idea it was to not only sell lemonade on a beautiful summer day but help a charity her family contributes to regularly. Sales were aided by the promotional efforts of the Siewerts’ neighbor, BJ Cook, which attracted members of the Grafton Police Department who were all smiles as they posed with Kennedy, the daughter of Chris and Sarah Siewert.                                  Photo by Sam Arendt
