"Wisconsin's Freshwater is Getting Salty"

"Wisconsin's Freshwater is Getting Salty," a Badger Talk with Linnea Rock, will be held online at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21. The W.J. Niederkorn Library will host the talk by Rock, a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate student who will discusses the environmental consequences of road salt usage on our freshwater lakes. The presentation explores the long-term chloride trends and the state of our lakes in Wisconsin with regard to chloride contamination.
