William J. Gosewehr

William J. Gosewehr, “Bill,” “Gorp,” age 66 years, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 3, 2020, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wis.

He was born Nov. 17, 1953, in Port Washington, Wis., to George and Carol Thelen Gosewehr.

After graduating from Port Washington High School, he started working at EST Manufacturing in Grafton and Milwaukee Gear. He was a volunteer EMT and firefighter in Saukville, Wis. He currently worked as a service engineer traveling to various locations around the world for Reishauer Gear and Thread Grinding.

 Bill married Barbie Demge of Port Washington, Wis., in February 2005 in Hawaii.

He enjoyed being an outdoorsman and looked forward to fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle or just relaxing in his yard. He also enjoyed billiards and hunting when he was younger.

He is survived by his wife Barbie, daughter Caleigh (Adam) Schultz and stepdaughters Valerie (Jeremy) Johnson and Megan Arrowood. He is further survived by grandchildren Austin and Coen Schultz, stepgrandchildren Ava and Jayme Johnson and Allison Doers, brother Robert (Tracy) Gosewehr, sister Sue Morauski, former wife Katherine Schefft, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
