Weekend offers entertainment

Belgium is offering a host of family fun this weekend.

The Cedar Grove Belgium Athletic Association is holding its annual youth baseball tournament Friday through Sunday at Heritage and Community parks.

On Friday night at around 9:45 p.m., the annual fireworks show will be held, if weather allows.

The show is one of the few in the area as many municipalities canceled their festivities due to Covid-19.

The Belgium Village Board approved holding fireworks, 6-1, this month.

Buechler Farms Kick the Dust Up Rodeo will be held Saturday and feature childrens’ events, bull riding and live music featuring Alex Simmons and The Other Side and Rebel Grace.

New this year is a concert at 8 p.m. Friday by Bad Habitz.
