Villagewide rummage sale, SFD car show set for this weekend

The Friends of the Saukville Fire Department are hosting a car show at Grady Park, 110 W. Dekora St., from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.

The show will feature old and new cars from the 1940s through today, Lou Paape, a member of the Friends of the Saukville Fire Department, said.

“We are expecting anywhere from 300 to 400 cars at the event and you’ll see cars from the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and more modern cars too,” she said.

In addition to the cars, Paape said, there will be food and drinks at the event as well as some children entertainment such as bounce houses.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the Saukville Fire Department.

The event is open to anyone and is free to attend.

For more information, call Paape at 483-6651.

Also happening this weekend is Saukville’s villagewide rummage sale.

The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9. All residents are welcome to participate.
