Village, town to discuss proposed 2020 budgets
The Belgium Village Board will discuss the 2020 budget in a committee of the whole format at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Village Hall.
No action will be taken. Village Hall is at 104 Peter Thein Ave.
A public hearing on the budget will be held later this fall before the Village Board, after the Board will approve it.
The Town Board will discuss its budget at its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Town Hall, 171 Main St.
Among the other agenda items are a discussion on a request for a “slow down” sign on Jay Road between Sauk Trail and Highway LL and taking action on a contract with Grota Appraisals for 2020-2022. It carries an increase of $1,830 per year.
