Village to reimburse cost of driveway aprons

A new policy approved by the Village of Grafton’s Board of Public Works will allow residents to be reimbursed if they choose to not have their driveway apron replaced by the village and instead hire a contractor to do the replacement of their entire driveway themselves.

The policy, which was proposed at the Oct. 9 Board of Public Works meeting and approved by the Village Board on Oct. 16, stems from the reconstruction of Sunset Court in 2022.
