Town to meet Tuesday

The Belgium Town Board will hold its monthly meeting a day later next month, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, due to Labor Day.

The board may hire a new inspection service after using SAFEbuilt in Waukesha for at least a decade. Town Chairman Tom Winker said Belgium is a “little fish in a big pond” of the company’s clients.

Hiring a town resident would be a better idea, he said.
