Town budget includes one-cent tax rate hike

Town of Saukville electors recently approved a balanced 2019 budget that increases spending and revenue $13,000 to $630,452. The tax rate increases one penny per $1,000 of assessed value, to $2.13.

That means the owner of a $200,000 home will pay $426 in town taxes, $22 more than last year.
