Stuff the Bus fills food pantry shelves

The Ozaukee Food Alliance in Saukville received a ton of food — actually closer to 3.5 tons — when organizers of the Stuff the Bus, including (center) Katie Draeger and Kathleen Shane, and other volunteers dropped off 7,225 pounds of food collected by students at Cedarburg’s three elementary schools. The donation topped last year’s Stuff the Bus total by nearly 3,000 pounds. When the food drive began seven years ago, school buses were used to deliver the proceeds.
