Stuff the Bus delivers in a big way for the Ozaukee Food Alliance

More than 9,000 pounds of food collected by students at the Cedarburg School District’s three elementary schools was unloaded recently at the Ozaukee Food Alliance in Saukville by Molli Wise (front left), Kathleen Shane (behind her), Katie Draeger (right) and employees of College Hunks movers Noah Galindo, Tony Noguera and Aluaro Noguera. The 9,352 pounds of food — 2,000 pounds more than last year — was collected by students during the annual Stuff the Bus food drive competition. Parkview Elementary School collected 3,408 pounds of food, the most of the three schools, but the Stuff the Bus winner was Westlawn Elementary School because it had the highest food-per-student ratio at 8.35 pounds per youngster.
