In an effort to improve cafeteria behavior, the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District has implemented a reward system through Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

So far, the youngest grade is modeling the best behavior.

“Our kindergarten students are leading the way in the competition,” elementary school counselor Sally Ketterhagen said.

As a reward, the class received the coveted golden spatula and was invited to the high school’s Rocket Cafe and Bakery class to decorate and eat cookies.
