Soil seminar for dairy farmers to be held in Port
A soil health seminar for dairy farmers will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, March 13 and 14, at the LePanto Banquet Hall, 350 E. Seven Hills Rd., Port Washington.
Speakers will include Ray Archuleta and Russell Hedricks. The class will include discussions on advanced soil health biology.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
A seminar for grain farmers will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, March 10 and 11, at the Roche Grain Farm, N3339 Roche Road, Columbus, Wis.
The cost is $300 per person per event until Feb. 14, and $350 afterward.
