A soggy start to the farmers market season in Saukville

Venturing out from under his tent, Steve Bublitz of Bublitz Produce in Jackson checked to see if the rain, which kept both vendors and customers at home, was letting up during Saukville’s first farmers market of the season at its new location, the Landt-Thiel American Legion Hall at 601 W. Dekora St. (Highway 33) on Sunday, June 16. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 13.             Photo by Sam Arendt
