Singer/songwriter to perform on April 23

Singer and songwriter Susan Werner will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Unitarian Church North in Mequon.

Werner has been described as one of the most innovative songwriters of today and compared to such notable performers as Jimmy Webb and Paul Simon.

She is known as a clever songwriter and engaging performer who uses her classic background to bring depth to her music.

Tickets for the concert, part of the Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series, are $19 in advance, $23 at the door and $12 for students.

Discounts of $1 per donated food item to a maximum $4 will be given at the door.

Advance tickets are available at Vines to Cellar in Port Washington and North Shore Bank in Grafton.

Only water will be available for purchase.
