Singer, songwriter to perform on Dec. 2

Singer and songwriter Dave Rudolf will present a Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Unitarian Church North in Mequon.

The church is at 13800 N. Port Washington Rd.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $24 at the door and $12 for students. A discount of $1 per donated food items to a maximum of $4 will be given at the door.

All those attending the concert will receive a grab-bag gift certificate for various ticket deals, and those donating food will be eligible to win tickets for the remaining concert season.

Santa Claus will also make an appearance during the concert.

Rudolf is a long-time performer and multi-award winning singer/songwriter who just released his 43rd album,

He’s a gold record, Grammy-nominated artist who has been nominated for The National Association for Campus Activities Entertainer of the Year 15 times.

He is an award winning childrens author who has written for Disney and Second City, did a TV pilot for the “All New Captain Kangaroo” and had songs on movies, television shows and industrial films.

He’s shared the stage with The Beach Boys, The Everly Brothers, The Mamas & Papas, Steve Goodman, John Hartford, The Smothers Brothers, Michael Smith, Megan McDonough, The Gatlin Brothers, Sha Na Na and Cheech and Chong.

Tickets may be purchased at North Shore Bank in Grafton and Mequon and Vines to Cellar in Port Washington.
