Shirley Dalkse

Shirley L. Dalske, 86, of Port Washington, died at Harbor Campus on Saturday, Dec. 8.  

Ms. Dalske was born in Milwaukee to Adlor and Hildegard Klein Gagne on Aug. 19, 1932.

Ms. Dalske worked as a secretary and retired from Modern Equipment in 1998.   

She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially loved annual trips with her grandchildren to Wisconsin Dells.

Ms. Dalske also enjoyed baking, gardening, playing scrabble with her daughter, playing cards and socializing with friends at local restaurants.

Ms. Dalske is survived by her daughter Brenda Brock of Port Washington; grandchildren Kyle Brock and Chelsea (Keith) Lubner; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by granddaughter Brittany Brock, and siblings Florence (Chuck) Biel, Bud (Valeria) Gagne, Irene (Dutch) Nuedling, Patricia (Harry) Franks and Donnie Gagne.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Church in Port Washington. Father Pat Wendt will preside.  

Visitation will be at the church from 4 p.m. Friday until the service.  

Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Port Washington.
