Saukville celebrates the Fourth in style

Saukville kicked off its Fourth of July celebration last week with a small-town parade that drew a lot of people, including (from left in top photo) Assistant Saukville Fire Chief Jason Laabs, Lt. Andrew Borgenhagen and Chief Bill Rice, who walked alongside a mini fire engine driven by Borgenhagen’s daughter Emory. Century Acres farm was well represented with a large tractor (above) and the Port Washington City Band came to town on its flat-bed trailer (right). Even those who didn’t participate in the parade, like Eleanore Thill (middle right), were well dressed for the occasion.  Photos by Sam Arendt
