Sandy Lynn Genack

Sandra Lynn Genack, 75, of Port Washington Wis., died July 30 at Lawlis Family Hospice after her yearlong fight with cancer.

Sandy was born on April 13, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Melvin M. and Ann H. (Zelenka) Dahlke.

A 1963 graduate of Custer High School, she went on to pursue a secretarial career. Sandy retired from Honeywell Aerospace in July of 2009 in Phoenix, Ariz.

The widow of Chester A. Genack, she is survived by her stepson Chester J. Gencak (Mary) and tribe, her son from her first marriage Daniel C. Betla (Gail) and grandchildren Brandon, Jacob and Joseph.

She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald R. Dahlke.

Sandy will be laid to rest alongside him and her mother at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Stangelville Wis.

Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
