Roseneni Perez

    Mrs. Roseneni Perez of Port Washington passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 12, 2020, at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon. She was 81 years old.
    Roseneni was born in San Juan, La Union, Philippines, on March 28, 1939, the daughter of Nicholas and Dolores Lopez Flores.
    She completed her education at Manila Central University by becoming a nurse.
    On June 21, 1964, Roseneni was united in marriage with Dr. Celestino M. Perez at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Quezon City, Philippines.
    After working as a nurse in Chicago, the couple moved to Port Washington in the early 1970’s, which is where her husband opened his medical practice.
    Together they raised their family of three children in their home on Pierre Lane.  
    Mrs. Perez’s Catholic faith was extremely important to her. She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish in Port Washington and took part in daily Mass by utilizing the live-stream service.  
    She enjoyed tennis, golf and her friends.
    Mrs. Perez’s true love was being with her husband and spoiling her nine grandchildren.
    Her survivors include the couple’s daughter Christine (Yves) Ghiai of San Francisco, sons Celestino F. Perez of Grafton and Carlo (Mishella) Perez of San Diego, grandchildren Anahita, Aryana and Azita Ghiai, Alexandria, Thailyr and JJ Perez and Daniel, Amelia and Carlo “CJ” Perez.
    Mrs. Perez was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Celestino Perez, who passed away on Nov. 16 of this year.
    Funeral services will be held for both Dr. and Mrs. Perez at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.
    Father Patrick Wendt will preside.  
    The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the services at 6 p.m.  
    Roseneni and Celestino will be laid to rest together at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.  
    The funeral service will be live-streamed for those unable to attend.
