Rosalie Holland

Rosalie A. Holland, 75, of Grafton, died Monday, Nov. 5, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Holland was born in Milwaukee on March 3, 1943, to Ignacio “Sam” and Rosalie Caruso Galioto.

She graduated from St. Joan Anita High School in Milwaukee in 1960.

On Aug. 18, 1962, she married John Holland at St. Rita’s Church in Milwaukee.

Her family said she was an excellent artist who worked for many years illustrating parts for American Motors catalogs.

Mrs. Holland was a proud member of the Italian-American community.

She was an outstanding cook and loved being with friends and family gathered around the kitchen table, her family said.

Mrs. Holland is survived by her husband John Holland of Grafton; daughters Lia (Brian) Bronson of Salem, Antonia (Ben Ahangar) Holland of Mequon, Louisa (Mark Rank) Holland Emeryville, Calif., and Andrea (David Brown) Holland of Auckland, New Zealand; granddaughters Neva, Sofia, Juliet and Cici; and sister Antoinette Savage of Brown Deer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church. Father Patrick Wendt will preside.

Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Church and Chapel, New Berlin, is handling the arrangements.
