Buechler Farms will be holding its third annual  rodeo, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

The Kick the Dust Up Bulls N Barrels rodeo will be held from 1:30 to 11:30 p.m.  Saturday, June 27.

Irene Buechler, the farm’s co-owner, said the decision was made Tuesday night to go ahead with the event, albeit with some adjustments.

More bleachers are being ordered to allow room for people to space out, and handwashing and sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the grounds, she said. Masks are optional.

Admission is $15 online and $17 at the door. Gates open at 1 p.m. Children’s activities will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. The rodeo starts at 3 p.m.

Alex Simmons and the Other Side will perform at 7:30 p.m., followed by Rebel Grace.

New this year is music on Friday night, June 26. Bad Habitz, a 1980s rock band, will perform at 8 p.m. Admission is $8 with tickets sold at the entrance. The band will break for the Belgium fireworks show.

Seating at the events will be limited. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.com and at Buchler Farms or Port Washington State Bank branches in Belgium, Port Washington, Saukville and Fredonia.
