Rocket royalty to take center stage at dance

The theme for Cedar Grove-Belgium High School’s homecoming dance on Saturday is “R Knight.” The court includes (front row, from left) Anna Claerbaut, Shelby Cooney, Allison Wieberdink, Abby Kraus, Kirstin Oszuscik, Haven Lanser, Kelsey Lukens, (back row) Josh Nett, Matt Poull, Max Ford, Michael Navis, Matt Voskuil, Justin Rose and Jeffery Emperley. The king and queen will be crowned at the dance. The annual homecoming parade will start shortly after 2 p.m. Friday, after the annual pep rally in the high school gym, and travel down Rocket Boulevard onto Union Street and then Main Street. The parade ends at Main Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The Cedar Grove-Belgium Education Association will host a brat fry in the high school commons at 4:30 p.m. The football game against Mishicot is at 7 p.m. At halftime, the high school band and color guard will perform a field show.
